| Installation Guidelines for Coir Sediment Control Products - KoirFence™ 1250 |
|

| KoirFence 1250 shall be installed using 2" x 2" hardwood stakes at 3’ to 6’ on center. Bury the bottom edge of KoirFence in a 4” x 4” anchor trench. Tie KoirFence at top, bottom and mid-height of the wood stakes using KoirTwine or BioTwine.
KoirFence shall be placed along the slope contours to maximize ponding efficiency. Inspect and repair KoirFence after each storm event and remove sediment when necessary. Removed sediment shall be deposited in an area that can be permanently stabilized. |
